Halloween: The Game Chapter 1: all 6 challenges
Chapter 1 puts you in the biker bar the developers placed in East Haddonfield. Its six challenges are mostly about weapons you find rather than the one you brought, which makes it the best chapter for learning what the environment gives you.
One target is scripted to escape, so a challenge asking you to clear the bar does not mean literally everyone.
Challenge 1Clear the Rabbit in Red
Goal: Take down everyone inside the bar except the one who runs.
Two non-biker occupants are easy to miss — the challenge counts them. Sweep the whole interior rather than just the main room, and ignore the target who is scripted to flee.
Challenge 2Shove a biker off balance
Goal: Use the shove to stumble a biker.
A plain shove into a biker is enough. This exists to introduce the mechanic, so do it early while there are still several targets standing.
Shove
Challenge 3Kill with a broken pool cue
Goal: Take down any target with a pool cue.
Broken cues are lying around the bar interior. Pick one up and use it on any target — the challenge does not name a specific victim.
Improvised weapons
Challenge 4Context-execute a biker
Goal: Take a biker down with a Context Execution.
Doable in the opening moments: grab one of the two bikers there, walk him to a wall, and execute. The wall is what makes the Context prompt appear.
Context Execution
Challenge 5Cleaver kill
Goal: Kill a biker with the cleaver.
The cleaver is in the Rabbit in Red's kitchen. Any biker inside counts, so grab it first and then pick your moment.
Improvised weapons
Challenge 6Three residents
Goal: Take down three residents.
These are outside the bar, so this one is an exploration task rather than a combat one. Work outward from the lounge.
Story mode difficulty runs Normal, Hard, Boogeyman. Nothing published indicates a challenge is gated behind a difficulty setting.
