Annie Brackett
The last unlock on the roster at player level 55.
Read on the numbers: Eight resourcefulness is her strength; four athleticism is her weak point.

About
Annie Brackett sits at the top of the unlock ladder at player level 55, the last civilian anyone adds to their roster and more than double the level required for Lynda van der Klok. Her card reads five capability, four athleticism, six personality and eight resourcefulness, with Speed Kills, Exit Strategy and Convincing Plea as her traits, the most escape-minded set on the roster.
She is the fourth of the legacy characters taken from the 1978 film, alongside Bob Simms, Lynda van der Klok and Laurie Strode.
Her Chapter 4 challenge is the one with the strictest timing in the game. Killing her in her car requires waiting for her to complete a specific loop (she does not get into the car until she returns to the Wallace House from the other house) and hiding there before she arrives. Rushing it resets her routine rather than failing it outright, which is why it reads as unresponsive rather than as difficult.
Being the level 55 unlock makes her the roster's completion marker. Speed Kills is the trait to build around: a repair kit alone gets her into a car, so a key she never finds is no longer the end of an escape.
A legacy character
Annie Brackett is one of four characters carried over from John Carpenter’s 1978 film rather than created for the game, along with Bob Simms, Lynda van der Klok and Laurie Strode. The designs were developed in close collaboration with Malek Akkad and Compass International Pictures.
All four appear on both sides of the game: as scripted presences in Michael’s story mode, staged around scenes from the original film, and as fully playable civilians in multiplayer. Most licensed horror games use their legacy cast one way or the other, not both.
Chapter 4: the car challenge, which only triggers once she returns to the Wallace House from the other house.
Story mode is played entirely as Michael, so this is where most players meet Annie Brackett before they can play as Annie. Every named-target execution in the story sits behind a Tier 3 Stalk on that specific target. The object and the position are the easy half.
Every civilian carries three signature traits, shown on the character-select screen next to their stats. They are separate from the perk deck, which is built from cards unlocked in the graveyard and is not tied to the character.
| Trait | What it does |
|---|---|
| Speed Kills | You can enter and start a car with just a repair kit and no car key, but it takes a much longer hold. |
| Exit Strategy | Escape routes are discovered from 20% farther away. |
| Convincing Plea | When you fill the badge, the countdown to the incoming police wave is 5% shorter. |
Annie Brackett’s four values add up to 23 out of 40. Treat that as a rough shape, not a power ranking: a maxed column is worth more than a spread if the thing it feeds is what your group keeps losing to. The Loadout Lab sorts every civilian by any single column.
By the time you reach level 55 you will want a head start on all of Annie's Progressive Challenges and their goals.
