Tanya Harrison
One of only two civilians with a maxed 10 in personality, and the lowest capability of the starters.
Read on the numbers: Maxed personality, lowest capability on the open roster — a specialist, not an all-rounder.
About
Tanya Harrison is the mirror image of Rachel Callahan. Where Rachel bottoms out at two personality, Tanya sits at the cap of ten — one of only two characters on the visible roster to max any stat in that column. She pays for it with four capability, the lowest among civilians you can play from the start.
She works part-time selling and spinning records at the local store and is written as the person who always knows where the next party is. That places her socially at the centre of Haddonfield, which is where the game's civilian objectives tend to live.
Her traits are Hi-Fi, Survival Skills and Guardian Shadow — a set that mixes her record-store identity with something protective, and the only starter trait list that names a survival skill outright.
Every civilian carries three signature traits, shown on the character-select screen next to their stats. They are separate from the perk deck, which is built from cards unlocked in the graveyard and is not tied to the character.
| Trait | What is known |
|---|---|
| Hi-Fi | One of Tanya's three signature traits — a nod to her record-store job. |
| Survival Skills | One of Tanya's three signature traits. |
| Guardian Shadow | One of Tanya's three signature traits. |
Across the 7 civilians whose stats are visible, Tanya Harrison’s four values total 25. Totals are not a power ranking — the game gives no indication that the four stats are weighted equally, and a maxed column is worth more than a spread if the thing it feeds is what your group is losing to. The Loadout Lab sorts every civilian by any single column so you can check that yourself.
