Marcus Navarro
Ten resourcefulness — the only maxed value in that column anywhere on the visible roster.
Read on the numbers: The only civilian with a maxed 10 in resourcefulness.

About
Marcus Navarro is the roster's resourcefulness specialist and the only character shown with a ten in that column. Seven capability backs it up, and five athleticism with four personality keeps him from being an all-rounder. If your group is losing matches to objectives left unfinished rather than to chases lost, he is the direct answer.
He is the newest member of the Castle Hill Rooks, the biker gang the developers placed in East Haddonfield around The Rabbit in Red Lounge. He lives on the edge of town and, by the game's own framing, would have left Haddonfield already if not for his grandmother.
Lone Wolf, Repair Expert and Trespasser are his three traits. Repair Expert saves repair packs, Trespasser opens locked doors without a key, and Lone Wolf takes over when he is the last one standing.
Every civilian carries three signature traits, shown on the character-select screen next to their stats. They are separate from the perk deck, which is built from cards unlocked in the graveyard and is not tied to the character.
| Trait | What it does |
|---|---|
| Lone Wolf | A large buff when you are the last civilian alive: smoother talking, faster interactions, less fear, and the CB radio and escape items are highlighted. |
| Repair Expert | A 20% chance not to use up a repair pack. |
| Trespasser | You can pick locked doors with a five-second hold. |
How to play Marcus Navarro
Marcus is the closest thing the open roster has to an objective-completion main. A maxed resourcefulness with seven capability means he can be the one sent to do the work while the higher-personality civilians handle persuading residents and calling the police. Pair him with Tanya Harrison or Alexis rather than with Eric Dunn, whose strengths overlap his.
Marcus Navarro’s four values add up to 26 out of 40. Treat that as a rough shape, not a power ranking: a maxed column is worth more than a spread if the thing it feeds is what your group keeps losing to. The Loadout Lab sorts every civilian by any single column.
His list includes repairing cars, phones and sabotaged breaker boxes, all jobs his resourcefulness suits. See all of Marcus's Progressive Challenges and their goals.
