Beer

ConfirmedDocumented in a guide or agreed on by players who tested it.

Consumed from the player's inventory. The specific gameplay effect is not documented.

Beer is one of two consumables confirmed by an unusual source: the mature-content descriptor the developers submitted to Steam, which states that players can consume beer and smoke marijuana from their inventory. That single sentence is the most authoritative confirmation that either item exists.

What it does not tell you is the effect. The descriptor exists to describe content for a ratings board, not to document mechanics, so nothing about buffs, debuffs or timing can be read out of it.

This item is also the reason a whole cluster of people are searching about this game and Australia — the same descriptor is why the game cannot be bought there.

Where this comes from

Steam's content descriptor for appid 3219630 states verbatim that "Players can consume beer and smoke marijuana from their inventory." That is the developer's own submitted description, which makes the item's existence and its consumable nature first-party facts.

How to read this

Every item page on this site carries one of three states, and they mean different things. Confirmed means a specific, actionable effect is documented or agreed on by players who tested it. Theorised means a hypothesis exists and the people offering it say it is unproven. No published effect means the item exists and is findable and nobody has published what it does — which is a real answer to a real question, and the one most likely to be dressed up as something else elsewhere.
