Laurie Strode
The only civilian with no stat below six, and the highest capability shown anywhere.
Read on the numbers: The most balanced high-floor spread on the roster — no stat below six.
About
Laurie Strode is the roster's all-rounder and the safest first pick for anyone still learning the civilian side. Eight capability is the highest number shown on any character-select screen; nine personality is second only to the two tens; and neither six athleticism nor seven resourcefulness is a liability. No other civilian avoids having at least one weak column.
She is the franchise's original final girl, and the game treats her as such — the "Final Girl" Laurie Strode cosmetic was one of the four Digital Deluxe pre-order items, alongside two Michael skins and the tie-in comic. Laurie herself is on the standard roster; it is the cosmetic that was gated.
Spatial Awareness, Knockout and Revenge are her traits. Knockout is the only trait name on the starting roster that suggests acting against Michael rather than avoiding him.
Every civilian carries three signature traits, shown on the character-select screen next to their stats. They are separate from the perk deck, which is built from cards unlocked in the graveyard and is not tied to the character.
| Trait | What is known |
|---|---|
| Spatial Awareness | One of Laurie's three signature traits. |
| Knockout | One of Laurie's three signature traits — the only starter trait that implies acting on Michael directly. |
| Revenge | One of Laurie's three signature traits. |
How to play Laurie Strode
Pick Laurie while you are still learning what the four stats actually do. Her floor of six across every column means no single situation punishes her the way three athleticism punishes Eric Dunn or two personality punishes Rachel Callahan, so any mistakes you make are yours rather than the character's.
Once you know which column matters most for the way your group plays, move to the specialist who maxes it — Marcus Navarro for resourcefulness, Tanya Harrison or Alexis for personality — and treat Laurie as the fallback when you need a civilian who is never actively bad.
Across the 7 civilians whose stats are visible, Laurie Strode’s four values total 30. Totals are not a power ranking — the game gives no indication that the four stats are weighted equally, and a maxed column is worth more than a spread if the thing it feeds is what your group is losing to. The Loadout Lab sorts every civilian by any single column so you can check that yourself.
